“Quoted” Interview

Translate

I have had this idea for a while to answer interview questions using quotes from movies and highly influential people, and there is no time like the present to finally get it done.

Below are some epic answers, and funny ones.

Please don’t use this as a reference for good answers,,, as it is mostly just for fun.

Let’s begin:

  • Tell me about yourself.
    • Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition! The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it’s my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

  • What are your strengths?
    • My greatest strength is common sense. I’m really a standard brand – like Campbell’s tomato soup or Baker’s chocolate.

  • What are your weaknesses?

    • I really don’t have any weaknesses. I do have areas of my life that I am working on to grow, heal and evolve. Giving myself permission to rest is an area I am working on.

  • Why do you want this job?
    • I’m one of the great unemployed looking for the next job. I’m waiting for the right offer. Like anyone, I want something that turns me on inside.

  • What is your dream job?
    • The man with the best job in the country is the vice-president. All he has to do is get up every morning and say, ‘How is the president?’.

  • What is your current job?
    • It’s just a job. Grass grows, birds fly, waves pound the sand. I beat people up.

  • What is your greatest achievement?

    • My most brilliant achievement was my ability to be able to persuade my wife to marry me.

  • What is your greatest loss?
    • Of all the things I’ve lost, I miss my mind the most

  • What is your greatest fear?

  • What are the qualities of a good leader?

    • A leader is best when people barely know he exists, when his work is done, his aim fulfilled, they will say: we did it ourselves.

  • What is your Career Plan?
    • Do I really look like a guy with a plan? You know what I am? I’m a dog chasing cars. I wouldn’t know what to do with one if I caught it. You know, I just… do things

  • If you were an animal, which one would you want to be?

    • Being asked what animal you’d like to be is a trick question; you’re already an animal.
